Slippery Rock, Pa. - Former Rock player Justen Stubblefield died Saturday night after the motorcyle he was driving collided with two parked vehicles in the Penn Hills section of Pittsburgh.

Penn Hills police said the incident occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday after Stubblefield, 21, hit two parked cars on Aber Road and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was later pronounced dead.

Stubblefield was not wearing a helmet when his motorcycle crashed

A graduate of Penn Hills High School, Stubblefield played in all 27 Rock games, started four games and averaged six points per game as a redshirted freshman guard during the 2003-04 season.

Stubblefield was a three-year starter and letterwinner at Penn Hills and led his team to a Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) championship.
