FLSP Retreat - Group 1
November 1-2, 2002
The Freshman Leadership Scholarship Program (FLSP) is a series of workshops on leadership as well as an opportunity for experiential learning through participation in a service project, and student organizations. Entrance to the program is open to new freshman students and is competitive. Selection is made through personal interviews and by screening applications.

While the selection criteria include previous leadership experience in high school, a strong desire to participate in the program is also considered. In addition to the leadership training participants who successfully complete all phases of the program receive a $250 fee reimbursement.

More valuable than money, is experience. Fortune 500 companies tell us that student organization participation and leadership experience is a key for employability.

This was Group 1's Retreat of FLSP 2002. I love all my group members and I can definitely say we had the best group. I learned a lot about leadership and even more about my fellow members. FLSP for Life!
