You may all be wondering how I got the name KoolDave. Well I will tell you that I am cool, of course, or I wouldn't have been called that. In the start of my junior year at Schenley High School. My website became very popular. It wasn't yet kooldave.com, but it was headed toward that name quickly. My nickname at the time was KrazyDave or KrazyDavey because I was one krazy man. Then a bunch of my friends that were girls started calling me cool dave, because they thought I had matured a bit, and I was not longer that crazy. I really liked the new nickname Cool Dave because it was simple and fit my personality well. I thought of ways of marketing it and making myself known only as that. I looked to make a new site for my senior year.
I was just starting my internship at NCCJ and around December of 2001, I started development of my new site. I wanted to use one of my nicknames as the web url, but cooldave was taken already, and I really didn't like C's anyways. I thought about using krazydave.com, but I thought it was old, and people might think it was some type of joke. I wanted to bring all cool stuff to my site, not krazy things. Immediately I looked to register kooldave.com and it worked. From then on, everyone would know me as the one and only KOOLDAVE.
My vision for kooldave.com was to provide commercial-free content about everything that interests and anything that I became interested in. The more I update my site, the more I learn about everything.I share all the knowledge that I find on the web with everyone else in one step of just going to kooldave.com.
